I don't know about the others but I think the best mix in this month's VOT was Rapter's. Smile I don't mean that the other mixes were bad but that's exactly the kind of music I was looking for.Definitely my style. Great energy in that mix man.Keep it up. Wink

Everybody has his own taste in music,no doubt about that

But when I was a (happy) hardcore fan, you couldn't find me on this forum.

Do you really like the Trance music on Generation Trance?

aww, it's great. just hearing parts right now, after downloading.

part 3, track 6 - "the White Room" - has vibes i often look for. nicely finishes off with an australian aborigine windchimer...
(oh well, wasn't at all like klf's "white room", and that's ok Wink

following one is immersive too, with its more vocal effects...

personally, i love most types of edm, the notable exceptions would be hardstyle, speedcore, and terrorcore. As long as it gives me goosebumps, sounds good to my ears, has a nice uplifting or relaxing feel etc., i'll listen to it.

terrorcore = the hardest kind of hardstyle in existance.. atleast i think, i've never listened to it, but the usual track from terrorcore has a bpm of 200 with the bass harder sounding then hardstyle, thats all i know from what people have told me.

Dude, I love happy hardcore AND vocal trance. Speedcore... meh... it's ok, I wouldn't listen to it for fun though. It's good for having seizures to though, I guess. And there actually is at least one song that's interesting enough for me to say "I like it."

I loved Rapter's set! Actually... that's the only one i've heard so far, now I'm dl'ing the torrent.

rapters set was very clean and good. transition wise, and it was an overall enjoyable mix. so no harm there. but eventually my headed started to hurt from the crazy BPM lol. but rapter still did a great job for HH fans. Very Happy

Oh!!! What's this? Sorry, but this 6th set is really.... This isn't trance, but caricature.
1st Hour (AM Mix) - GT vs Project C - is really nice set, but a bit "overbass" (?) (A lot of bass)

Well I listened to the end first and I have to say while Happy Hardcore is not my usual I didn't find it that bad. Sometimes it was even pretty fun. Haven't finished the disk yet but probably will tomorrow. Smile Fun stuff Raptor. Thanks.

Tomorrow I'll be able to give the rest of it the listen it deserves. Smile

is something up with the torrent? I've been at 98.4% for a day. The same sort of thing happened with the last torrent also (The Bidness), it eventually went through.

stop your program and reboot and then start your torrent program again. it could be that it just lost its mind with this torrent.

Listened to this all of today and enjoyed the mix Smile

I liked how the first CD started mellow and then picked up the tempo as it went on (well thats how it was for me anywho), n my fav. track was 8 (Kenneth Thomas Feat. Colleen Riley - Ghost In The Machine (Elevation Remix))

2nd CD I found upbeat, n really digged the 2nd track (Above & Beyond - Can't Sleep (ATB Remix)), but the other songs were awesome too Very Happy

3rd CD was probably my favourite CD out of the lot, and really liked 4 tracks on this (01 - Kansai - Remember This Night (Elucidate Chillout Mash-Up), 04 - Aven - All I Want (Ferry Costen Remix), 06 - Adam White & Andy Moor Pres. Whiteroom - The White Room, 08 - Luminary - Amsterdam (Smith & Pledger Remix)). Especially liked track 6 as its been one of my favourites since I first heard it a while ago ^^

4th CD was mellow in places and upbeat in others, which like the first CD I really liked. The vocals in that 3rd track (Ayu - Unite (Airwave Vocal Edit)) were amazing! Shocked

Like the 2nd, I found the 5th CD upbeat n I really liked the flow on all the tracks ^_^, 3rd track (Summer Sessions Feat. Michelle Smith - Blossom (Haylon Remix)) was my fav on this CD Mr. Green

6th CD was a nice change, and as I been listening to Happy Hardcore even longer than I been listening to trance, this was a treat ^^ Recognised a load of the songs on here, and really liked the version of "David Pamies & Caesar Benito - Torn" that was used (never heard the original before, just various remixes). For some reason this CD reminded me of most of the Dougal and some of the older Hixxy mixes I've listened too.

All in all thumbs up here, great work by all and can't wait for the next VoT Mr. Green
