didn't know where to post it so i post it here...
well i just figured out a very very nice location for a gig
that is
1. cheap to rent
2. has much space (about 1000 ppl will fit in that concert hall)
3. has technical equipment
4. already about 10 fans here Very Happy
well if you ever wonder about making a europe tour i'll support you of course which means getting the stuff with location and some equipment done, promotion everything Very Happy would be pretty cool to see you here live mixing oneday...
now just a silly idea but here are lots of people who'd like to listen to you Wink

promoting is a little difficult sometimes.. there are a lot of thing to consider.

You have to make sure your performers are taken care of, make sure your taken care of, and also make sure the venue doesnt try to take all of the earnings after the event.

A LOT OF DUTCH FANS ? Smile I've seen HyPeR-X Smile and two other people,
so that's not a big start. What I'm thinking about, is someone I know who is doing this more. But even then you have to promote the mixes and the names GT & PC are not wellknown, so to fill a place is more difficult than you realize.
And also I'm agree with pipedowndjh and chemikalzsky, there is a lot to think about.
And it's for sure Limo, that we can't afford it.
So we made a start, and that's a good thing Wink

My mate tried to promote a night about a year ago and i agree 110% with what you are saying it's hard and the only way you canget an audience is by hiring a well known DJ,it cost him around £2500 and he only managed to get his money back after a few night's,then you have to watch clubs cos they will take all the money and charge you extra to use thier equiptment, many clubs won't let you take your own for this reason,,if it's what you want to do then go for it but please be carefull theres a lot of planning to put into it Wink

venues are soooooo sneaky.. When i was setting up show's i made sure that one of my peeps was handling the money at the door or at least have one of them watching the person doing the money. They are shifty these club owners.

The clubs around here are weird.. Some don't even have PA systems and if you don't have one then you ain't playin. The one club i have in mind to reserve is an old movie theater so the rooms are huge. I don't think GT & C would have a prob filling them

Ehh, Lisa
after reading more from Dazzler and Chemikalzsky we have to dream a little more.
BUT, we keep positive and when you or I find a promoter, we invite these two too.
I must say, I don't have doing things like this, but when I try harder, there is always a solution. Maybe when I'm talking with Armin van Buuren? Laughing

In my enthousiasm I take your idea Embarassed You want them coming in Germany! And that's almost the same, when you talk about Europe. But Stuttgart is about 700 km from here Rolling Eyes
So how can we manage this together?

700Km? Sounds like a 6 hour drive to me. 110-120Km/h no problem. I can do it in 5 hours if there arent many cops Smile
